William Harrison "Billy" Brasher married Nancy Caroline Garrison, daughter of Thomas Garrison and Frances Hanks, on May 15, 1844.      He served in the Fayette County, Alabama Home Guards, 2nd Class Militia in April 5, 1864. Almarinda "Mirendy" Brasher was born on May 24, 1842 at GA. She was the daughter of Lawrence Aquilla Brasher and Frances 'Franky" or "Frankie" Henderson. Almarinda "Mirendy" Brasher married John Thompson Garrison.      The 1850 Coweta County, Georgia Census indicates she was born in South Carolina but her twin sister Arminda was shown in that census to be born in Georgia. It would be difficult for twins to be born in two different states. ANd since the other children born immediately before and after the twins were born in Georgia we must assume the census taker made an error in writing down South Carolina as her birth place.      She was enumerated with Lawrence Aquilla Brasher on the Coweta County, GA census dated August 10, 1850; Almarinda was shown at age 8 as a white female born in South Carolina.

John Thompson Garrison married Almarinda "Mirendy" Brasher, daughter of Lawrence Aquilla Brasher and Frances 'Franky" or "Frankie" Henderson.
