The Information I have for the birth dates of Ezekial does not agree with the number of females.
He was shown at age 64 in the 1850 Yalobusha County, MS Census, dwelling 733, page 733, page 428A. His name was spelled Agula. He was listed with his wife, Rachel (age 60) and a boarder, Peggy Parks (age 50). Argaleus was shown as a Planter with real estate valued at $300. He was born in NC. Rachel was born in SC. There was no birth place listed for Peggy Parks. He was living between the household of some of his children and that of his son-in-law Sam Steele (husband of Elizabeth). He was also two houses away from his son, James. He died in June, 1860 at Yalobusha County, MS. [This section of Yalobusha County became part of Calhoun County around 1853. One source has the date of death as after 1850.]. |

Information was found on Page 291A, Dwelling 912. James R. was shown at age 37 as a married white male born in North Carolina. He was listed as a farmer. Louisa was shown as Eliza at age 20 as a married white female born in ALabama, wife of James R. There are children from what appear to be two marriages present in the census. The first set of children were all born in Alabama with the exception of Samuel who was born in Mississippi. The youngest child, Nancy appears to be from the marriage of James R. and Louisa. Nancy was born in Mississippi. The children: daughter, Margaret, (age 12); son, Henderson (age 10) attended school; daughter, Ann (age 8) attended school; son, Samuel (age 6); and daughter, Nancy (age 1). It is interesting to note that the eldest male child of James R. was named Henderson. Does that mean that James was married to another Henderson women before he married Louisa? If so, it was probably one of her sisters. |

She would also have been only 13 years old if married in 1847. (While the age is not too unusual it seems a bit young for Henderson marriages).
