The children: Jasper (age 13) and Martha Ann (age 12) are shown with the last name of Burket. She was enumerated with James Henry Conatser on the Pike County, AR census dated November 29, 1850; Nancy N.R.. was shown at age 15 as a white female born in Tennessee. Nancy R. Conatser married David Burkett circa 1854 at Pike County, AR. [It appears that David and Nancy died between the taking of the 1860 and the 1870 Pike County Arkansas census. Their children are living with relatives. The two known children, Jasper and Martha are living with Nancy's father, James Harvey Conatser. Was there a third child born in 1862? There is a Manda Burkett shown living with te family of James and Frances A. Nash in the 1870 Pike County, Arkansas census. Is Manda another daughter of David and Nancy Burkett? Is Frances A. Nash the sister of Nancy Conatser? More research is needed to answer these questions.]. Nancy R. Conatser died before August 6, 1870. [children are shown living with their grandfather, James H.
