Hezekiah Allen I was born in 1775 at York County, NC/SC/VA. He married Martha Elizabeth [Fereby?] Lawson in 1795.      On July 16, 1806, Hezekiah bought 50 acres of land on Beaverdam Creek, Buncombe, NC. On January 25, 1810, he bought another 50 acres of land there. Then in October, 1810, he sold all this land and moved to Holmes Creek, Smith County, TN. Hezekiah was a member of the Two Seed in the Spirit Predestinary Baptist Church of Holmes Creek, Tennessee. The cemetery where he and Martha were buried was covered by water when a new lake was built in DeKalb County Tennessee in the early 1930's. Hezekiah Allen I died in 1838 at Smith County, TN.

He bought 130 acres on King's River, Barry, MO. on 13 October 1879. He had moved to Missouri between 1867 and 1868. Hezekiah Allen II died on October 8, 1894 at Barry County, MO. He was buried at McGuire Cemetery, Barry County, MO.
