Crowley died on April 16, 1893 at Morgan County, AL. from 'The Alabama Enquirer' April 20, 1893 DEAD ON TRACK- Decatur, April 16- John W. Crowley, section foreman on the first section of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad south of Decatur, was found dead on the track this morning, having been run over by the cars and ground to a pulp. The evidence tended to show that the deceased was under the influence of whiskey and either was placed on the trracks by two tramps after being robbed, or else layed down and went to sleep and was run over by the trains. The man was about 30 years old and well connected, having married the daughter of Ike Thompson of Trinity.

James Clyde Funderburk was the son of Elvis Dee Funderburk and Mary Parker. James Clyde Funderburk died on May 6, 2003 at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Lubbock County, TX. He was cremated by Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville, Howard County, AR. The following obituary was published in Plainview Daily Herald, Plainview, Hale County, TX, on May 8, 2003:      James C. Funderburk      Memorial services for James C. Funderburk, 69, of Halfway, will be held May 16 in Murfreesboro, Ark.      Cremation arrangements are by Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, Ark.      Mr. Funderburk died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.      He was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Murfreesboro. He served stateside with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an industrial mechanic for Owens-Corning in Amarillo before retiring. He moved to Halfway in 2001.      He was a member of the Plainview American Legion.      Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Stephenson of Halfway and Donna Hamner of Sapulpa, Okla; a son, Duane Funderburk of Amarillo; a sister, Jo Lindsay of St. Joseph, Ill; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.      A daughter, Darla Evans, one brother and three sisters are deceased.

B.F. Ashley was born circa 1911. He married Bertha E. Funderburk, daughter of Elvis Dee Funderburk and Mary Parker, on October 17, 1937 at Pike County, AR. [He was 26. She was 20. He lived in Murfreesboro, Pike County, AR and she lived in Nashville, Hempstead County, AR prior to the wedding.].

Bhuford Leslie Huddleston was born on March 8, 1920 at Pike County, AR. He was the son of Jesse O. Huddleston and Orpha Missouri Funderburk. Bhuford Leslie Huddleston died on May 31, 1998 at Hot Springs, Garland County, AR, at age 78. He was buried on June 3, 1998 at Cornett Cemetery, Cornett, Cass County, TX.
