Jim never married. He lived by himself after his mother died and ran a moonshine still behind his house. Had a married couple live with him for a while. The man helped run the moonshine business and the woman was a prostitute. Jim just sat back and took care of the money. Jim planned and paid for his own funeral before he died. Even picked out his own casket. After he died and was buried at Mt. Vernon UMC, a lot of rain fell and the ground was so wet the casked rose up and floated out of the grave. |
