Mildred Blanche Ray was born on September 29, 1903 at Greenbrier, AR. She was the daughter of Dr. James Ansalm "Ancil" or "Ant" Ray and Minnie Ellen Glover. Mildred Blanche Ray married Walter Edgar Carlon. Mildred Blanche Ray died on February 14, 2001 at Hattieville, Conway County, AR, at age 97. The following obituary was published on February 15, 2001:      "Hattieville -- Mildred Blanche Ray Carlon, 97, of Hattieville died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001. She was the widow of Walter E. Carlon and the daughter of Dr. J.A. and Minnie Glover Ray. Mrs. Carlon was member of the Hattieville Church of Christ.      "Survivors include sons -- James E. Carlon or North Little Rock, Rod Carlon of Cleveland, Gib Carlon of Hattieville, Boone Carlon of Fort Smith and Ancel Carlon of Morrilton; daughters -- Erma Lee Burnett of Sapulpa, Okla., Melba Deltrick of Falling Waters, Va., and Jean Himes or Houston, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.      "Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Morrilton Downtown Church of Christ. Burial at Old Hickory Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb 16, at the funeral home." She was buried on February 17, 2001 at Old Hickory Cemetery, Morrilton, Conway County, AR.

Ollie Mae Tate married James Arthur M. Ray, son of Dr. James Ansalm "Ancil" or "Ant" Ray and Minnie Ellen Glover.      She was enumerated with James Arthur M. Ray on the Conway County, AR census dated January 26, 1920; Ollie M. was shown at age 18 as a married white female, wife of James A., born in Arkansas. Her parents were born in Arkansas.
