Patience Rector was born on June 17, 1790 at Fauquier County, VA. She married Owen Bryant on May 15, 1806 at Washington County, VA.      Patience was enumerated in the 1860 AR census, Hempstead County, Wine Creek TWP, Nashville Post Office, in the home of her daughter Mary and A.S. Viney. In 1880 AR census, Patience was enumerated in her son, William's, home in Hempstead County at age 89 with an occupation of Knitting. Patience Rector died on May 13, 1883 at Bingen, Hempsted County, AR, at age 92.
