Terry Keith Allen was born on July 27, 1952 at Opelika, Lee County, AL. He was the son of Julia Mae McConnell. Terry Keith Allen died on December 5, 1975 at Opelika, Lee County, AL, at age 23.      Terry was killed while erecting a CB radio antennae which hit a high power electrical wire. He is buried at Rosemere Cemetery in Opelika, Alabama. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Opelika, Alabama.

Julia Mae McConnell was born on June 2, 1924 at Opelika, Lee County, AL. She was the daughter of Albert Feelonious 'Lavonious' McConnell and Ida Davis.      Julia was the third child of Albert and Ida (Davis) McConnell. She was born about the time the Great Depression hit America and consequently, her childhood was one of hard times for her and her family. She talked many times about that time and said that receiving an apple or an orange for Christmas was for her a big treat. Growing up under these circumstances instilled in her a strong character and a love of family that remained with her throughout her life. This was evident even during her last few months when she was suffering from breast cancer. She never complained about her condition but put the needs of her family above her own. She cared for her aged mother during this time until it became physically impossible for her to continue to do so. She graduated from high school in Opelika, Alabama while, at the same time, worked at a textile mill that was located there. She worked for many years as a seamstress in various sewing factories in Opelika. She liked to crochet as a hobby and made many beautiful items such as bedspreads, table cloths, sweaters, etc. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Opelika and also a member of Lodge 516 of the Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society located in Opelika. She was buried November 2, 1991 in Rosemere Cemetery, Opelika, Lee County, Alabama. Julia Mae McConnell died on October 31, 1991 at Opelika, Lee County, AL, at age 67.

William Richard Allen was born on September 1, 1901 at DeKalb County, TN. He was the son of Staley T. Allen and Mary Susan Cantrell. William Richard Allen married Hazel Cewilla Roberts, daughter of James 'Jim' Roberts and Minnie Florence Luna, on May 7, 1922 at Warren County, TN. William Richard Allen died on January 1, 1958 at Phenix City, Russell County, AL, at age 56.      Known by his middle name, Richard. He liked woodworking and built many fine pieces of furniture during his lifetime. He died of Hodgkin's Disease and is buried at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Russell County, AL.

Hazel Cewilla Roberts was born on June 11, 1907 at Sequatchie County, TN. She was the daughter of James 'Jim' Roberts and Minnie Florence Luna. Hazel Cewilla Roberts married William Richard Allen, son of Staley T. Allen and Mary Susan Cantrell, on May 7, 1922 at Warren County, TN.      Hazel was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Hazel Cewilla Roberts died on July 19, 1976 at Campaign, Warren County, TN, at age 69. She was buried at Lakeshore Memory Gardens, Russell County, AL.

Albert Feelonious 'Lavonious' McConnell was born on June 18, 1897 at Lee County, AL. He was the son of Edmund F. McConnell and Annie Pearl Murphy.      Albert's mother died when he was a small child and his grandparents (Benjamin and Julia McConnell) took him and raised him. Since Benjamin was a farmer, Albert helped him on his farm until he was old enough to go to work in a textile mill located in Opelika, Alabama. \--> Albert did not like his middle name which was Feelonious (even though he gave his son Edward that middle name), so, he changed his middle name to Lavonious. Most of the current records for Albert are listed as Albert Lavonious McConnell. \--> He worked in a textile mill until he became disbled to do so.\-->Albert died of hardening of the arteries and is buried in Rosemere Cemetery, Opelika, Lee County, AL. Albert Feelonious 'Lavonious' McConnell married Ida Davis, daughter of John Henry Davis and Eoleta Martha Cantelou, on February 16, 1919 at Opelika, Lee County, AL. Albert Feelonious 'Lavonious' McConnell died on July 16, 1974 at Opelika, Lee County, AL, at age 77.

Staley T. Allen was born on January 27, 1878 at DeKalb County, TN. He was the son of Andrew Jackson Allen and Susannah H. Mullican. Staley T. Allen married Mary Susan Cantrell, daughter of Daniel Watkins Cantrell and Shrilda Jane Cotton, on October 11, 1897 at DeKalb County, TN.      Staley and his family moved from Lincoln County, Tennessee to Opelika, Lee County, Alabama about 1932. This was during the depression and he had found employment at Pepperell Manufacturing County, a textile mill located there. Staley was also a farmer. He is buried at Pierce Chapel Methodist Church in Lee County, Alabama. Staley T. Allen died on October 13, 1957 at Opelika, Lee County, AL, at age 79.
