Pike County Township Map
Pike County was created on November 1, 1833 from parts of Clark and Hempstead counties. Parts of Clark were annexed in 1873 and 1877. Part of Pike County was annexed to Howard County in 1873. The county seat was located at Zebulon, later named Murfreesboro, in 1836. A log courthouse was built that year. It was destroyed by fire in 1855.
