Will Book A page 121. Last Will and Testament of Stephen P. Baker. Dated
July 23rd 1885. "I give, bequeath and devise my estate and property, real
and personal, as follows, that is to say, After all my debts are paid, I
give and bequeath to Malissa M. Weir" certain personal property and money
and to Mary Jane Palmer money. "I give, bequeath and devise the balance of
my estate and property equally to Patrick H. Baker, Joseph A. Baker and
Martha Ann Richardson. I appoint Patrick H. Baker of Pike County, Arkansas
executor of this my Will." Witnesses, J.C. Hughes (and) John J. Hughes,
Sen. September 26th 1885. Before the Clerk of (the) Probate Court &c. came
J.C. Hughes and John J. Hughes, Sen., who first being duly sworn say, that
we saw Stephen P. Baker sign the foregoing instrument of writing &c. he at
the time declaring the same to be his last Will and Testament and we, at the
request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each
other, signed the same as attesting witnesses, and we verily believe the
said testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of
signing, as aforesaid. Sworn to &c. before me &c. J.O.A. Bush, Clerk. Duly
recorded.
