Will Book A page 102. Last Will and Testament of E. Wingfield. Dated March
19th 1879. (1st.) "That (it is) my will that all my just debts be paid and
funeral expenses be paid out of my estate. 2nd. I will and bequeath to my
beloved wife Frances N. Wingfield all my property both real and personal
during her natural life and I want her to be my legal representative to make
deeds of conveyance of my land and the title to be good forever. Furthermore
I want my two children (Josephine Reid and William Henry Wingfield) at the
death of their mother, to share & share alike." Witnesses, Jesse Newton
(and) S.H. Wingfield. March 5th 1880. Before the Clerk of the Circuit Court
&c. came Jesse Newton and S.H. Wingfield and who first duly sworn, depose
and say, that they saw Elijah Wingfield sign his name to the annexed paper
writing and hear him say and declare the said paper &c. to be his last Will
&c., that deponents signed their names as witnesses at said (Elijah)
Wingfield's request in his presence and in the presence of each other and at
the time of signing of said Will, the said Elijah Wingfield was of sound and
disposing mind and memory &c. Filed and Recorded this 5th day of March 1881.
