Will Book A page 62. Last Will and Testament of Albert Vickery of Sevier
County, Arkansas. Dated August 30th 1871. He appoints his son Sampson Wm.
Vickery his "executer" or "Executor" then disposes of notes and money, and
then, "Fourthly. It is my (will) and request further that Sampson W.
Vickery my 'Executer' keep in reserve my homestead lying in Pike County
'singarly' (singularly) and 'servaly' (severally) for the use of his son
James Albert Vickery son of S.W. Vickery. It is further my (will) and
request that Sampson W. Vickery my son and 'Executer' have to himself,
after paying all legal demands, the remainder my effects both 'grate' and
small. (Witnesses) William E. Todd and Thomas M. Skaggs. October 20th 1871.
Before H.H. Clary clerk, Sevier County, Arkansas came William E. Todd and
Thomas M. Skaggs who being first duly sworn depose and say, that said
(Albert) Vickery signed said instrument in our presence and that we signed
the same in his presence and in the presence of each other at the request of
said Albert Vickery and that said Vickery declared the same to be his last
Will and Testament in our presence and that they believed that the said
Albert Vickery to have been in his right mind at the time of signing the
same. Recorded in Pike County, Arkansas &c., October 23rd 1871.
