Pike County, Arkansas and recorded in Abstract of Title Book Prior to 1890

Will Book 1 page 7. Last Will and Testament of Willis Reeves deceased. Dated 
August 15, 1857. Recorded August 31, 1857. "First. I hereby constitute and   
appoint my wife Emoline Reeves to be to sole Executrix of this my last Will, 
directing my said Executrix to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses    
and legacies hereinafter given out of my estate. Second. After the payment   
of my said debts" &c. "I give to my wife Emoline Reeves all my Real Estate   
and personal property to raise and school my children as long as she remains 
unmarried and my widow, and on her decease or marriage to my said children   
and their heirs, respectively to share and share alike, and if my wife       
Emoline Reeves should marry, she is then to have an equal portion with the   
children." Signed, sealed &c. "in the presence of us who in her presence and 
in the presence of each other and at his request have subscribed our names   
as witnesses hereto." Allen Meeks (and) James W.M. Murphy. August 31, 1857.  
In Vacation before William J. Kelley clerk, Allen Meeks and James W.M.       
Murphy and first being duly sworn say that said Reeves subscribed his own    
name at the end of the within instrument or Will &c. and that he then and    
there declared &c. the same his last Will &c., that they the said Meeks and  
Murphy, subscribed the same as attesting witnesses &c. in the presence of    
said Willis Reeves and that said Reeves at the time of signing his name as   
aforesaid was of sound and disposing mind and memory. Signed by William J.   
Kelley, Clerk Circuit Court and seal affixed.
