Hollywood - We have had several deaths this week in our vicinity, all
colored. Scott Stringer among them was born in South Carolina in 1808
and came with his master Mr. Stringer to Arkansas in 1830 and settled in
Pike Co. near Murfreesboro. Uncle Scott came to Hollywood in 1868 and
has made his home here ever since. He was an old time darky and had no
enemies.
