Taylor Polk to John Dickson
Received of John Dickson of Pike County, Arkansas, Four Hundred Dollars in
full payment for one negro woman named Liza. Which I warrant said negro to
be sound in mind and body and a slave for life; and I warrant and defend the
title of her, the said negro woman Liza with him, the said John Dickson, his
heirs and assigns for ever.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 14th day of April
A.D. 1845.
