JONES COPELAND REID CARTER

Charles Wesley "Charlie Buck" Jones died about 1901 in Nathan, Pike Co.,
AR. Wife was Mary Jane Copeland b. 1838, Howard Co., AR d. 1908 Pike Co.
They had twin sons b. 1855 Howard Co. named Thomas Jefferson Jones and
George Washington Jones. Who was Mary Jane Copeland's mother? (father was
Richard Copeland. What information I have comes from a 1931 publication by
S.B. Reese "Corinth Arkansas And Its Kinfolks". Would like to hear from
anyone interested. My maternal grandmother was the daughter of George
Washington Jones and Mary Elizabeth "Katie" Reid. I'd also like to find

HANCOCK, STRINGER

Hello out there. I'm researching the HANCOCK surname. John D. Hancock, born
Abt 1824, in TN, married Mary Angeline Stringer, Abt 1853, and they had six
children: R. W. HANCOCK, B: Abt 1854; W. T. HANCOCK, B: Abt 1855; Augustus
W. HANCOCK, B: April 7, 1858; Clara Ann HANCOCK, B: January 10, 1867; John
H. HANCOCK, B: December 27, 1869; George R. HANCOCK, B: December 27, 1869.
Most (if not all the children) were born in Pike County. I would like to
correspond with anybody that researching this HANCOCK line. I have some

BIGGS, WELLS

Rev. Amariah BIGGS, Methodist minister and physician settled in Pike County
after the Civil War. He was married (2) to Mary Wells. One son, Rev.
William Henry Harrison BIGGS moved to Texas. I'd like any local anecdotes
about the BIGGS family or contact any descendants of Amariah BIGGS. One
