I do certify that security is taken in my office according to law, for a
license to issue for a marriage intended to be solemnzied between Milas
Bagwell and Mrs. Ann Phillips.
These are, therefore, to license and permit you to join together in the holy
state of matrimony, the said Bagwell and Mrs. Ann Phillips according to the
rites and ceremonies or your church; and for so doing, this shall be your
sufficient warrant. Given under my hand the 3rd day of September, 1831.
