Know all men by these presents that we, Jeremiah Davis and Wm. Davis, are
held & firmly bound unto James Garr'd Esq., Govr. of Ky., in the penal sum
of fifty pounds, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs,
Exr's., Admr's. & jointly, severally and firmly, by these presents, seals,
both our seals, and dated this 15th day of Jany., 1804.
The conditions of this obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage
intended between Jeremiah Davis and Stacia Davis.
Now if there shall be no lawfull objections to obstruct the said marriage
then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue.
