This is to certify that I, Levi C. Adams a regular ordained Minister of the
Methodist Episcopal Church South, having my Credentials Recorded in the
Clerk's office in the County of Johnson, State of Arkansas, do hereby
certify that on the fourth day of October 1848, in the County of Sevier, the
State of Arkansas, that I did join in Matrimony, Alexander Graves of the
County of Pike, age 22 and Elizabeth Props of the County of Sevier in said
State, age 17 years by consent of her Parents, this done according to the
forms and customs and disciplines of the Methodist Episcopal Church South,
whereof I am a Minister, and then (&) there declared them to be husband and
wife, this Given under my hand October 4, 1848.
