I, W.T. Lightfoot, an acting and duly commissioned Justice of the Peace in
and for the County of Clark and State of Arkansas, do hereby certify that on
the 23rd day of April 1848, at the County aforesaid, I did duly join in
marriage, Wm. Daniel Self of Pike County, aged 25 years and Miss Arcady Jane
Edwards, daughter of Lewis Edwards of the County of Clark, aged 15 years by
verbal consent and then and there by me, pronounced husband and wife. Given
under my hand as such Justice.

I, Isaac W. Smith, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Exofficio recorder in and
for the County of Clark & State aforesaid, do hereby certify that the
foregoing Certificate of Marriage was filed for record in my office on this
3rd day of May A.D. 1848, and that the same is now duly recorded in Record
Book F and page 79.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand as Clerk & Exofficio
recorder as aforesaid, and affixed the seal of said Court at office in
Arkadelphia this 3rd day of May A.D. 1848.
