Agreeable to an order to us directed, we have this day viewed a stray mare,
show to us by William T. Dickson, and we do find her to be a Sorrel, with a
blaze face, and a white spot on the right side, some small white spots on
her back, branded on the left thigh, but not legibly, supposed to be seven
years old, and thirteen and a half hands high, and we do appraise said mare
to twenty dollars.
Given under our hands this 2d day of April, A.D. 1840.

Stringer and Clement Davis.

about six year old, branded on the near shoulder and hip with the letters
S.J., with a small bell on and no clapper in it; and we do appraise the same
to fifty-five dollars, this 23d day of October, 1841.

back, shod all around, no brands perceivable, about 15 1/2 hands high, and
about eight or nine years old. We appraise the same to eighty dollars.
