State of Arkansas, County of Hempstead, Office of the Clerk of the
Hempstead Court of Probate. In Vacation January 14th A.D. 1843. John D.
Trimble granted Letters of Administration upon the Estate of William Hasley
late of said county deceased. Bond of John D. Trimble with George W. Green
and Henry Cheatham as securities of $1000. April Term A.D. 1843. John D.
Trimble presents petition showing William Hasley's Estate is insufficient to
pay the debts and to sell his land to pay debts. July Term A.D. 1843.
Administrator to sell land. January Term A.D. 1844. John D. Trimble
exhibited and filed his account of settlement of said Estate which is
continued until the next Term of this Court. January Term A.D. 1844. Susan
Hasley wife and widow of the late William Hasley deceased having filed her
petition herein at a former Term of this Court stating that the said
William Hasley died siezed and possessed of certain tracts or parcels of
land lying and being in Hempstead County, in the State of Arkansas and
known and designated as follows, to wit: ... and the Commissioners appointed
at the last July Term (1843) of this Court to assign and set apart to the
said Susan her dower in the said Lands having failed so to do: It is ordered
that John W. Williams, Harrison E. Watson and John Shook be and they are
hereby appointed Commissioners to survey and mark out by proper meets and
bounds, dower to the said Susan Hasley, in and to the lands, aforesaid; and
it is futher ordered that they report their proceedings herein to the next
Term of the Court.

Estate of William Hasley. Susanna Hasley and William Wingfield execute joint
note to John D. Trimble administrator dated February 25, 1843 payable on
January 1, 1844 which is to be credited by her interest as Dower in and to
demands in favor of Estate when collected.
