County of Pike,
I, David S. Dickson, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Exofficio Clerk of the
County & Probate Courts of the County aforesaid, do hereby certify, that
satisfactory evidence has been exhibited to the Probate Court of said county
that William Jenkins, as a Pensioner of the United States at the rate of one
Hundred and seventy Dollars per annum, was a resident of the said County of
Pike in said State of Arkansas and died in said County & State on the 14th
day of October 1842 and that he left a widow whose name is Marg(a)ret L.
Jenkins.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal of
office at Murfreesboro in said County, this 25th day of July 1843.
