Abstract made by an unknown abstractor about 1890 from original records of   
Pike County, Arkansas and recorded in Abstract of Title Book Prior to 1890

Probate Book 1 page 193. July Term 1858. It appearing to the Court that John 
C. Coffman late of this (Pike) County had died intestate leaving an estate   
of considerable value on which letters of administration were granted to     
A.W. Hall which said letters were afterward revoked &c. Whereupon it is      
ordered by the Court that the sheriff of Pike County (William Gilmer) in his 
capacity as public administrator take letters of administration de bonis non 
on said estate &c. Probate Book 1 page 277. April Term 1859. The Court       
revokes and sets aside the orders heretofore made in revoking the letters    
of administration of Abner W. Hall and the appointing of Wm. Gilmer          
administrator de bonis non as said actions were improper and illegal; and    
orders that said (A.W.) Hall proceed to administer upon said estate          
according to law.
