Bob
I received your letter this morning about your genealogy interest and
families in Southwest Arkansas since at least 1820 including the Jacobs,
Wingfield, Holcomb, Baker (and) Johnson families.
I do not have a fee and freely provide information and hopefully have some
exchange of information. I would like to know the families you have
identified and the information Desmond Walls Allen provided that I may not
duplicate it.
I appreciate your letter and would like to hear from you.

I received your E-Mail response to my letter. Thank you.
To help you better understand what Desmond Walls Allen sent, I will scan
the letter and send it with this correspondence. The strike through in the
second paragraph was made by me. I believe she made a typo. What you see in
her letter is as far back as I have been able to go. If you can take it
further, it would be fantastic.
In her letter, all of the family names I requested information on, except
Johnson, are listed, and the connections are obvious. One of Beverly Rector
Jacobs' children was named Marion Eldridge Jacobs. He was born on Nov. 20,
1868. I don't know where. He was my Grandfather. He died in the flu
epidemic of 1918 - November 02, 1918, in Hochatown, Oklahoma. He was
married to Mary Madora Johnson, who was born in 1874. I don't know where.
Her parents were James P. Johnson, and Margana Bradshaw. I don't know where
they are from, but I highly suspect southwestern Arkansas.
Any information that you can share with me will be appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and assistance.
BOB JACOBS

Thank you for your email and file. I was unable to open your (attached)
file (scan of Desmond's letter) ... I have been putting together family
group records to post on the Pike County, Arkansas USGenWeb page and the
one below is posted, this update having additions, but it is not finished
yet. I still wanted to send it your way now and it will be a record that is
updated from time to time.
