W.J. Sellers of Glenwood Died Tuesday.
Glenwood - W.J. Sellers, aged 83, died at his home one mile north of
Glenwood at noon Tuesday. He was born in Kentucky, August 3, 1851. He came
to Pike County in 1871, and settled near Murfreesboro, where he married
Miss Vica Ann Kelley of Delight, August 11, 1873. He is survived by four
daughters and five sons. Mr. Sellers served as a justice of the peace in
Pike county for 36 years and served as deputy sheriff five years. Funeral
services were held at Bethel, Wednesday afternoon, in charge of Dr. John
T. Barr of Norman and burial as in the Bethel cemetery.
