A man by the name of C.B. Fox of Pike county, a few miles above Amity, met
with a fatal accident Saturday. He was out hunting with three other men and
had a pistol out, which he dropped, and by the fall was discharged and the
ball entered his left leg on the inside and ranged up into his body near his
kidney. The ball was cut out by Drs. Watson and Palmer. He lived until next
day at 4 o'clock and expired.
