____________________________________________________________________________ Arkansas Territory, County of Clark, Know All Men By These Presents: That, I, Aaron Hughes of the Territory and County, aforesaid, have this day bargained and sold to John Hughes of the County & Territory, aforesaid, my whole Stock of Cattle, the number I suppose to be in and about thirty head, be the same more or less, together with four head of horses, and thirty head of Hogs for the consideration of five Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by the said John Hughes, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, and I, Aaron Hughes, do in and for the above consideration, give, grant, bargain, and sell unto the said John Hughes, all and every (one) of the above mentioned Cattle, Horses, & Hogs, to have and to hold the same for his own use and purposes.
