The 18th day of January, 1836.
I, William Kelley, of Pike Cty., Ark. do hereby apply for the purchase of
the NE qr. of the NW qr. of section numbered thirty in township numbered
eight, south of range number twenty-three, west, containing forty acres,
according to the returns of the Surveyor General, for which I have agreed
with the Register to give at the rate of one dollar and twenty-five cents
per acre.

I solemnly swear, that the above described land is intended to be entered
for my own personal use and not in trust for another, and that the same is
intended to be entered for the purpose of cultivation.

I, G.W. Conway, Reg(tr.), do hereby certify that the Land within described
is vacant and subject to entry and the price agreed is one dollar and
twenty-five cents per acre and contains 40 acres.

_____ cents, being in full payment for the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section No. Thirty, in Town-ship No. Eight, South of
Range No. Twenty-three, West, containing Forty acres, at $1.25 cents per
acre.

It is hereby certified, That in pursuance of Law, William Kelley, of Pike
county, Territory of Arkansas on this day purchased of the Register of this
Office, the lot or North East quarter of the North West quarter of section
number thirty in township number Eight, south of range number twenty-three,
west, containing forty acres, at the rate of one dollar and twenty-five
cents per acre, amounting to fifty dollars and _____ cents, for which the
said William Kelley has made payment in full as required by law.
Now therefore be it known, That, on presentation of this certificate to the
Commissioner of the General Land Office, the said William Kelley shall be
entitled to receive a patent for the lot above described.
Act of 5th April, 1832.
