Pike County,
On this tenth day of January 1856, before me the undersigned, a Justice of
the Peace in and for the county and State above referred to, personally
appeared George Hensley who being duly sworn according to law, declares that
he is the identical George Hensley who served in Capt. Braden's Company of
Militia in the war of 1812, the he received for said services a Bound Land
Warrant of 40 acres, which issued under the act of Sept. 28, 1850 and that
he has made an application for additional Bounty Land by reason of said
services, under the act of March 3, 1855, which application was forwarded to
Charles C. Tucker, of Washington, D.C., to procure the Warrant.

under this or any previous act of Congress, other than the application upon
which he received said Warrant, and the one other application above referred
to, in which he claims additional Bounty Land under the act of March 3,
1855.
