____________________________________________________________________________ The Courier office caught fire yesterday from a spark on its shingle roof, and had it not been for its early discovery, the building and contents would have been destroyed. Aunt Elisa Johnson, a colored woman, was passing near, and seeing the fire gave the alarm. A goodly number of citizens hastened to our relief and did heroic work in our behalf, for which they have our thanks.
